Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.Qualifications:Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience in Landscape Architect, Architect, or General Engineering OR BA/BS Degree in Landscape Architect, Architect, General Engineer with minimum additional experience of 20 year(s) in Landcape Architect, Architect, or General Engineering OR Previously completed training in Landscape Architect, Architect, or General EngineeringKnowledge of managing construction contracts, AE servicesExperience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe AcrobatDuties:Serves as a Project Manager in the Design and Construction or Transportation Divisions within the Denver Service Center for a wide variety of projects. The projects assigned will range from conventional to complex projects.Has responsibility for the successful completion and execution of all projects. Coordinates with compliance, and design and construction professionals to translate the superintendents needs. Ensures project compliance and overall quality.25%On projects where assigned as assistant project manager, performs all assigned tasks as deemed appropriate by the senior project manager to assist in the timely completion of all work. The senior project manager will be primary point of contact to the customer, and mentor and provided professional expertise and guidance to the enrollee throughout the project.25%Conducts project briefings, including regional work sessions and the service-wide Development Advisory Board. Accurately drafts responses to congressional inquiries and other information requests in a timely manner and in coordination with other team members and the appropriate DSC Branch Chief.25%Serves as the point of overall technical and administrative responsibility, accountability, and authority for ensuring that the NPS project is completed as negotiated with the NPS Park or Regional office or with other partnering agencies or by A/E contract. On major, highly complex, multi-phased projects, enrollee may be assigned as Assistant PM to a senior manager.25%Other:Overnight travel: Occasional trips to visit project sites within parks may be required. Estimate that travel will be a max 4 nights per trip, with 1-2 trips per year maximum. Travel may require flights or via driving to remote locations.Air travel anticipated: OccasionallyPhysical requirements: Work will primarily occur in an office setting, but may require travel to park sites including short hikes on uneven terrain and/or visiting construction sites.
