A well-established Ob/Gyn group in a growing metropolitan suburb is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their team. This practice holds the distinction of being the first in its community to integrate midwifery care, beginning in the early 1990s. With four board-certified physicians offering a combined 84 years of experience, the group is known for its strong clinical support and collaborative culture.
The practice is deeply rooted in its community, with many team members having been with the group for two to three decades. They foster a family-oriented environment and offer flexibility for both full-time and part-time roles.
Deliveries are performed at a nearby hospital featuring a Level II NICU staffed by neonatologists, allowing for deliveries as early as 32 weeks gestation. The group averages 1,100 to 1,200 deliveries per year. The surrounding area offers excellent schools, outdoor recreation (including access to lakes, hiking, and camping), and a strong sense of community, making it a desirable place to live and work. The location is within a short drive to a major metropolitan hub, providing access to urban amenities while maintaining a suburban lifestyle.
