Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite  with our client in Buffalo, NY . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Looking for individuals with experience working in an inventory or file room environment, who enjoy daily structured repetitive tasks, are comfortable with laptops and software, and enjoy a team-focused culture. 
  • Completes entry-level review of documents from Institutional clients and reports on identified exceptions.
  • Complete essential data matching of documents based on agency guidelines or custodial agreements for non-agency documents for Institutional clients.
  • Match the Document Custody tracking system data to the original documents.
  • The data for review is uploaded to the tracking system for reporting and tracking of file movement and storage.
  • Determine if a document is an original or a copy and update the tracking system accordingly.
  • Follow essential review criteria according to established procedures.
  • Update the tracking system with exceptions found or addressed as documents are reviewed.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls by the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client's brand.
  • Maintain client's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Filing and scanning these newly created customer folders and placing them on designated shelving.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with operating computers and email software.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree.
  • Self-motivated, dependable.
  • Pulling files and trailing documents off of shelves based on a pull list provided by our partners
  • Excel
  • Detail oriented
  • Independent.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Able to lift around 30lb.
  • Able to be on feet most of the day.
