Job Description
This exciting, part-time, contract and remote opportunity for a UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing and improving the user interfaces and user experiences in our digital ecosystem. The designer conceptualizes and executes interface designs, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures user interfaces adhere to the brand's design language and user-centric principles.
Success in this role relies on a blend of creative flair, strategic design thinking, and a data-driven approach to optimize user engagement and support ManpowerGroup’s digital marketing objectives effectively.
Making an Impact
Focuses on optimizing UI, developing wireframes, and ensuring a seamless and user-centric experience across all digital platforms.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product marketing directors, developers, and other designers.
Optimizes existing user interfaces based on user feedback and analytics to make data-driven design decisions.
Ensures designs align with best practices and current designs in UI design, as well as trends, the brand's identity, and style guidelines.
Continuously gathers feedback from stakeholders, team members, and end-users.
Iterates on designs as needed to improve the user experience.
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
Reviews project requirements and objectives.
Conducts user research to understand the target audience, their needs, and pain points.
Analyzes competitors' websites and functionality trends.
Participates in design meetings to brainstorm ideas and set design goals.
Creates wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to outline the structure and layout of the user interface.
Designs user-friendly and response webpage concepts for dev to ultimately implement.
Develops interactive prototypes to visualize the user flow and functionality.
Iterates on designs based on feedback and testing results.
Makes necessary design adjustments based on user testing results.
Creates high-fidelity mockups with attention to color schemes, typography, and visual elements.
Works on iconography and graphics for the user interface.
Other accountabilities as assigned.
Required
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: 3-5 years experience in UX/UI design with a robust and well-documented portfolio. It should showcase a variety of projects that demonstrate a range of skills, including wireframing, prototyping, visual design, usability testing, and problem-solving. The portfolio should reflect a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
Experience in conducting user research, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
Proficiency in design software and creating interactive prototypes and wireframes, using Figma (or history with Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software).
Familiarity with usability principles, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and the ability to design with diverse user needs in mind.
~ Ability to translate wireframes into webpage design collaborating with dev team partners in Sitecore and HubSpot .
