Job Description

Position Title: Specialty Software Engineer Sr.
Position Location:  hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remotely
1st preference: Pittsburgh, PA
2nd preference: Cleveland, OH
Position Duration: 6 months

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Must Have Technical Skills:
BM IIB with SQL

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
1. Unix and Scripting - Strong command of Unix/Linux environments including shell scripting and performance monitoring - desirable


Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree required -(Computer Science Degree preferred)
