Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join in support of an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will be experienced with SharePoint (2013-2019) and O365 Administration, MS Power Platform, Windows Server Management, VMWare, and Cloud Platforms (AWS and Azure). The candidate will review existing technology, infrastructure, and processes, and highlight opportunities for improvement. They will work with the team to apply changes to improve the scalability and reliability of existing tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert in SharePoint Administration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining multiple SharePoint Environments (2013, 2019, Office 365) for both on-premises and hybrid configurations.
• Thorough understanding of Visualization concepts, VMWare, and migrating between different cloud platforms
• Knowledge of managing clustered environments and failover configurations
• Automating tasks using PowerShell and Power Automate
• Able to create system design documentation, change requests, and governance documentation
• Experience working in a US Government Environment.

Professional Certifications:

• MCSE Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
• RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Git Version Control
• Automated deployments with Ansible and Python

Required Technical/Business Tools Experience:

• SharePoint
• VMWare
• PowerApps
• Power Platform
• PowerShell

Preferred Technical/Business Tools Experience:

• Ansible
• Python
• Linux
• Ubuntu, SUSE, CentOS

Required Education:
MS in Computer Science or comparable degree
