Description We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to lead the implementation and oversight of comprehensive security strategies across the organization. This role involves driving compliance with industry standards, managing security operations, and ensuring a robust defense against emerging threats. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, this opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual ready to make a significant impact on enterprise security. Responsibilities: - Direct daily security operations, including incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessments. - Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop and enforce security policies tailored to organizational objectives. - Oversee third-party risk management processes and ensure robust identity and access management protocols. - Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and engineers to maintain proactive monitoring and efficient incident handling. - Evaluate and implement new security technologies to strengthen the organization's resilience against cyber threats. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. - Develop strategies for cloud security and integrate best practices across platforms like AWS and Azure. - Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting security metrics and improvement initiatives. - Continuously assess security frameworks and recommend enhancements to safeguard sensitive information. - Manage budgetary and resource allocations for security projects effectively. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise-wide security programs and leading incident response efforts. - Strong proficiency in cloud security platforms, such as AWS and Azure, and modern DevSecOps methodologies. - Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, are highly preferred. - Proven ability to assess and implement security technologies to mitigate risks. - Excellent communication skills, with a track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. - Deep understanding of SIEM tools and enterprise-level security frameworks. - Adept at mentoring teams and driving performance in high-pressure environments.
