Job Title: Safety and Loss Control Manager (OSHA Experienced)

Department: Risk Management / Operations

Reports To: Head of Client Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Sunrise Florida

Type: Full-Time

Salary: $85,000- $100,000 (based on certification and experience)

Position Summary:

The Safety and Loss Control Manager is responsible for developing, recommending, and help managing our clients safety and loss prevention programs with a strong focus on OSHA compliance. This role ensures a safe work environment across all clients locations, minimizes risk exposure, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in conducting safety audits, onsite safety assessments, training programs, accident investigations, and developing proactive loss control strategies including creating Service Operations Procedures (SOP).

Responsibilities:

• Investigate all clients workplace claims, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions 

• Work with our clients reviewing their safety programs or creating programs to keep a safe work environment.

• Design and deliver training programs, including new hire orientations, annual refreshers, and site specific modules

• Perform onsite assessments of our client’s locations to identify where potential risks may occur. 

• Creating detailed reports of findings after onsite assessment and delivering to the clients with recommendations and suggestions.

• Perform onsite & virtual live training for our clients and their employees 

• Train clients on hazard recognition, incident response and Return-to-Work programs

• Manage, assign, and update any self-paced training based on OSHA changing guidelines 

• Monitor and interpret OSHA regulations and communicate necessary changes or updates

• Train clients on how to properly manage their OSHA 300 Logs

• Assist clients in OSHA reporting hospital or death claims 

• Working with clients if OSHA violations exist 

• Other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum 5 years of direct safety and loss control experience, preferably in a multi-site or client-service environment.

• License to certify clients in OSHA 10 & 30 and Forklift . 

• OSHA 30-Hour (Construction or General Industry) required; OSHA 500/501 certification preferred.

• Experience in managing Workers Compensation claims and collaborating with insurance carriers.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other relevant federal/state regulations.

• Excellent communication oral & written, training, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel to worksites or client locations as needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EHS software is a plus.

Preferred Certifications (not required):

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

• Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)

• First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor
