About YouWe are seeking a proactive, self-directed, and results-driven Regional Project Engineer to lead high-impact, multimillion-dollar capital projects from concept to completion. You thrive in dynamic manufacturing environments, have a strong background in the food or beverage industry, and are comfortable with extensive travel (up to 50%), especially during project implementation phases. About the RoleAs a Regional Project Engineer , you will be responsible for planning and executing strategic capital projects across multiple manufacturing sites. This includes leading infrastructure and equipment upgrades, supporting sustainability initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and serving as a technical advisor for operational excellence and maintenance strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of process infrastructure and equipment across multiple facilities
Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, and performance specifications
Develop and maintain 3 5-year capital plans for regional facilities
Provide technical guidance on packaging, processing capabilities, and compliance with food safety standards (e.g., BRC, SQF)
Oversee vendor management and project execution from conception through completion
Generate regular status reports on projects and improvement initiatives
Support energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and cost reduction efforts
Investigate equipment and process failures and recommend solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align regional initiatives with corporate objectives
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) required
5 10 years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing
3 5 years of project or program management experience
Strong working knowledge of packaging equipment and production processes
Familiarity with food industry certifications (BRC, SQF, BMP)
Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, CAM, or SAP
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
