**Responsibilities** Provides general patient care. Assists as scrub tech for C section deliveries and assists with vaginal deliveries. The Surgical Technologist (ST) is an integral component of the surgery team providing expertise in he role of the scrub nurse. The ST works closely with the Registered Nurse in planning for and providing care to the operative patient, and in meeting the needs of the surgeon. Provides appropriate patient care according to the age of the patient, Specifically: neonatal, adolescent, adult. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality as per Administrative Policy. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + 6 months - 1 year experience + HSD/GED or 2 years equivalent work experience + BLS (AHA) required **Preferred:** Completed and passed Surgical Scrub Technical Training. Prefer experience in an acute obstetrical setting. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
