**Job Title:** **Mechanical Assembler** **Location:** Shakopee, MN **Shifts Available:** + **2nd Shift:** 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM (Mon-Thu) - _Pay: $22-24/hr_ **Overview** Join our team as a **Mechanical Assembler** and contribute to building precision components for industries including medical technology, agriculture, and government projects. **Responsibilities** + Assemble mechanical parts such as brakes and clutches for surgical robots, hospital beds, MRI machines, farm equipment, and more. + Use hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks accurately. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper assembly. + Work in departments including Epoxy Machine, Gear Motor, Medical Assembly, and Electronics Assembly. + Maintain high standards of quality and precision throughout the assembly process. **Essential Skills** + Minimum **1 year** experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Strong mechanical aptitude; hobby auto mechanics or medical assembly experience preferred. + Ability to work independently and maintain focus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience using calipers and micrometers. + Familiarity with light mechanical assembly and sub-assembly processes. + Soldering and mechanical repair skills are a plus. **Why Work Here?** + Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401(k) Match. + Quarterly bonuses after the first year. + Opportunities for advancement. + Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA). + Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Tuition Reimbursement. **Work Environment** + Climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility. + Bench assembly for mechanical brakes, gear motors, and drives. + Low-volume, high-mix production requiring attention to detail. + Gloves provided for protection from oils and adhesives. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $26.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
