**Mechanical Assembler** **Location:** **Ramsey, MN** **Schedule:** **Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM** **Pay:** **$20.00-$21.00/hr** **About the Role** Join a team building custom refrigeration units used in grocery stores and gas stations. You'll be brazing copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch, assembling units based on blueprints, and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Braze copper-to-copper piping using oxyacetylene torch + Cut and measure piping and insulation to spec + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Assemble housing units for refrigeration racks + Perform physical tasks: bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting **Top Skills** + Mechanical assembly + Brazing experience + Blueprint reading + Hand tools & tape measure proficiency **Ideal Candidate** + 3+ months of mechanical assembly, machine operation, or construction + Experience in plumbing or entry-level welding (MIG) + Farm equipment repair or automotive work is a plus + Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn **Work Environment** + Large, clean manufacturing facility + Team-based builds (3-4 people per unit) + Fast-paced, well-lit, no A/C (fans provided) + Steel-toed boots and long pants required **Why Work Here** + Learn brazing, quality control, and function testing + Pay increases based on performance + Custom work-every project is unique + Stable work even during economic downturns + Supportive team leads and training structure **What they're looking for:** Motivation, willingness to learn, good attitude, strong attendance, and ability to learn quickly. **Disqualifiers** + Negative attitude + Unwillingness to learn or help in other areas **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
