At Safe Harbor Estate Law, we help clients find peace of mind through thoughtful legal planning and support. As our Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving client acquisition and enhancing brand visibility. This role focuses on developing and executing social media strategies, planning and supporting in-person and virtual events, and assisting with the implementation and tracking of multi-channel marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the firm’s back-end marketing systems to ensure exceptional client service and maintain strong brand awareness:
- Conduct CARE (Client Appreciation and Referral Engagement) calls to check in with current and former clients and to refer our former clients to our partners.
- Request and collect client testimonials to support the firm’s reputation and marketing efforts.
Actively manage the firm’s referral relationships to ensure strong relationships and increasing numbers of referral leads and conversions:
- Update and maintain the CRM tracking system for all contacts for referrals in and out, maintain a schedule for regular contacts to referral sources, and report on referral numbers and quality.
- Ensure custom thank-you notes are sent to referral sources weekly for the referrals they send.
- Reach out to prospective referral sources to schedule introductory or relationship-building meetings with a designated firm representative. Educate them on the types of clients we can help.
- Strengthen referral relationships and maximize the value of existing partnerships.
- Maintain up-to-date lists of referrals for key areas.
Develop and update marketing materials for targeted audiences:
- Responses to prospects (new client proposals, brochures).
- Welcome packages and personalized letters.
- Newsletters Blogs.
- Marketing emails.
- Attorney Biographies on various websites.
- Review and update the pre-, during, and post-engagement glidepaths for clients.
Lead digital marketing efforts, including in-house SEO, SEO for AI, blog content creation, internet advertising management, and strategic initiatives to increase website traffic and improve online lead quality and conversions:
- This will entail the use of AI tools for content creation, both printed and video, and placement of backlinks. Monitor and hold accountable any vendors that maintain the Firm’s website, social media accounts, newsletter, or other marketing services.
- Monitor and respond to social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Support and hold accountable any vendors who post blogs and articles to keep content-related sections of the website up-to-date and freshMarketing Events and Gifts.
- Speaking: schedule, coordinate marketing, conduct, and supervise conduct preparation of materials and follow up from monthly workshops and webinars.
- Networking: Attend networking events for referral sources and potential clients.
- Special events and gifts: Coordinate and conduct any marketing event tables or special projects and gifts.
- Keep abreast of the Firm’s social calendar and ongoing and upcoming projects and programs to be able to inform prospective clients and to answer questions from staff.
Marketing reporting:
- Continuously update marketing tracking to ensure timely, accurate reports weekly at a minimum.
- Manage and allocate Marketing budget effectively, including developing and updating regular reporting to track the effectiveness of marketing spend and recommend adjustments.
- Maintain the Firm’s marketing documents and materials (electronic and paper) in locations that are accessible to the Owner and team.
- Prepare agenda for and participate in weekly marketing meetings with COM and Marketing Director (currently Owner). Lead by example with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Ads, etc.
