Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams supporting complex IT compliance and cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational leadership, expertise in federal IT standards, and a proven ability to manage risk, schedules, and quality across multiple workstreams. This role requires someone who can think strategically, manage details, and deliver consistent results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• This is a Remote (work from home) position.
• Lead the development and delivery of project work plans, deliverables, and performance metrics
• Coordinate tasks across compliance, risk, change management, cybersecurity, and IT investment domains
• Manage resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcome
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement strategies
• Lead weekly status updates, project reporting, and internal team communication
• Maintain project documentation and ensure version control, accessibility, and compliance
• Support planning and execution of system releases, assessments, and modernization efforts
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure projects meet security, performance, and compliance objectives
• Ensure documentation aligns with organizational templates, federal standards, and knowledge management goals.
• Support training and onboarding efforts for new project team members to accelerate productivity.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, issue logs, and mitigation plans to proactively address project challenges.

Required Skills: .

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, including leadership of large-scale IT or compliance programs
• Proven experience managing projects involving cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance, or federal compliance (e.g., FISMA, FITARA, NIST)
• Strong understanding of risk management, change control, and IT lifecycle best practices
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management tools and documentation standards
