**Stand-Up Forklift and Cherry Picker Operator - Roselle, IL** **1st shift - 6am-2:30pm** **$19.50/hr** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Forklift/Order Picker who will be responsible for accurately picking orders for shipment. You will operate a stand-up forklift and utilize an RF scanner to fulfill customer specifications. The role involves verifying shipping counts and potentially repacking parts for shipment via UPS or FedEx Ground. **Responsibilities** + Pick orders to be shipped accurately and efficiently. + Operate stand-up forklifts safely. + Use an RF scanner to locate and track inventory. + Follow picking sheets and walk to assigned locations. + Build orders according to customer specifications. + Palletize and wrap orders securely. + Verify shipping counts to ensure accuracy. + Repack parts into minimal boxes for shipment as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with stand-up forklifts and reach trucks. + Proficiency in reading and following basic schematics. + Strong attention to detail in all tasks. + **Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.** + Capability to work on feet for 8-hour shifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + **Previous order picking experience is a plus.** + Basic computer skills are beneficial. + No degree is required for this position. **Why Work Here?** Join a company where the culture is centered around the well-being of employees. The work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The environment is very clean, and the company provides a supportive culture. You will perform assembly of small sub-assemblies for filters by hand and using basic hand tools. Material handling duties and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required. Proficiency in English is necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROSELLE, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
