**Job Description:**
Beverly Hospital, located in Beverly Massachusetts is part of the Lahey Health System. Beverly Hospital is a community hospital and consists of 10 operating rooms at the main campus and 4 operating rooms at the Lahey Outpatient Surgery Center located in Danvers, MA. We provide a wide range of specialties including; orthopedics, GYN, general, vascular, thoracic, spine, pediatrics, cysto, and ENT. The Coordinator of Administrative Billing assumes responsibility for the surgical billing/charging of patient profiles. Additionally, this role assists, coordinates, and maintains all administrative functions necessary to ensure efficiency of all administrative duties of the Department.
40 hours, Monday - Friday days 9am-5:30pm
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities** _including but not limited to:_
+ Answers and screens a variety of telephone calls, using discretion and tact to handle accordingly.
+ Acts as a liaison between the periop departments including informed delays, on time starts, etc.
+ Assists with completing payroll
+ Reviews, make changes as necessary, and submitsdaily billing/charging for patient profiles.
+ This includes reviewing/correcting case record data, anesthesia times and recovery times.
+ Reviews intraoperative billing to assure all products used have been appropriately charged.
+ Transmits charges within 24 hours of the case finish.
+ Participate in introduction of new products into the OR in relation to billing.
+ Provides administrative support to the Nurse Managers of Surgical Services,
+ OR Business Manager and OR Clinical Coordinator.
+ Orders, distributes and maintains appropriate office supply stock levels for all Surgical Service Departments.
+ Maintains and updates active files for management.
+ Enforces vendor compliance with Reptrax.
