**Description** SAIC is seeking a highly motivated, organized **Configuration Manager/Logistics Coordinator** in **Point Magu, CA.** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** The CM/Logistics Coordinator will support the Airborne Electronic Attack Integrated Product Team (AEA IPT) Jammer Technique Optimization (JATO) Group engineering lab in Point Magu, CA. The CM/Logistics Coordinator will be the primary inventory manager for 1600+ pieces of electronic equipment. **JOB DUTIES:** + Record and report the status of equipment and changes. + Maintain records of the history, status, and version of each piece of equipment. + Use a computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. + Delegate accountability for items to co-custodians. + Conduct routine inventories of equipment and audits of co-custodians to verify status. + Develop and maintain the configuration management plan, outlining procedures, responsibilities, and guidelines. + Use and maintain configuration management tools to track and control equipment and changes. + Coordinate calibration of electronic equipment with vendors to include requesting quotes, recommending vendors, scheduling shipping and calibration around customer and vendor availability, and documenting calibration. + Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, often with short notice. + Follows shipping practices and procedures, and control procedures for unclassified and classified equipment. + Use a corporate purchase card to make government-directed purchases, request purchases in advance, and report expenses in accordance with corporate policy. + Transfer data from one customer network to another via CD or hard drive. **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:** + Bachelors and six (6) years' experience. Additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree. + High level of organization to perform equipment management. + Strong communication skills for effective interface with the customer, equipment co-custodians, SAIC Procurement Specialist, and leadership. + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to create filtered lists based on multiple categories. + Highly motivated, capable of performing the required duties with minimal direct supervision in a team environment. + Ability to schedule meetings and delegate equipment accountability to co-custodians. + Candidate must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance. + Must have sufficient credit to attain a corporate purchase card. **DESIRED EXPERIENCE:** + Understanding of MIL-HDBK-61, Configuration Management Guidance. + Understanding of DOD CUI. + Familiarization with SharePoint.
