The CNC Setup Technician specializes in configuring machinery to produce high-grade parts for essential industrial segments. An accomplished Journeyman Machinist with a varied toolkit will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities in Detail:

• Craft precision parts based on detailed schematics and verbal guidance.
• Engage mathematical sharpness for precise machining.
• Maintain an organized and risk-free working area to ensure peak performance.
• Adapt machine programs for optimal production flow and make necessary corrections.
• Provide insightful feedback to better our production processes.
• Excel in deciphering intricate technical blueprints and sketches.
• Execute heavy parts manipulation safely using overhead equipment.

Expected Qualifications:

• Proficient in adjusting and operating 5-axis machinery.
• Qualification might include a technical college diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with industry-standard machines like DMG MORI is beneficial.
• Effective presentation skills and proficiency in applying mathematical concepts like algebra and geometry.
• An added advantage is familiarity with the aerospace sector.
