Job Title: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant Specialty: Pediatrics Contract Duration: 5 months Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (must be flexible for occasional 8:00 AM starts) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to join our team in a clinic setting. This role primarily involves back-office responsibilities such as taking vitals and assisting providers, with occasional front-office support. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment. Key Responsibilities + Perform patient triage and obtain vitals + Assist providers during examinations and procedures + Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection + Support pediatric and family health patients + Restock supplies and clean exam rooms after visits + Occasionally assist with front-office tasks (registration, insurance verification) Qualifications 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience Pediatric or family health experience required CMA or RMA certification through one of the following ( CANNOT Accept NPCE): + American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) + American Medical Technologists (AMT) + National Health Career Association (NHA) + National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) + National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) + American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Experience with phlebotomy, front/back-office tasks, registration, insurance verification, and vitals Epic experience is a plus Be able to pass medical compliance per institution's requirements Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
