Day-in-the-Life: What does a day as an Advanced CNC Operations Technician look like? Your role orchestrates the seamless functionality of high-precision CNC machinery. With your comprehensive skill set in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, you’ll be at the heart of our production efficacy.

Key Duties:

• Identify and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues affecting our CNC operations
• Implement routine preventive measures to avoid equipment failures
• Address CNC control challenges across systems like Fanuc and Mazak
• Efficiently manage parts requirement sourcing to support repair activities
• Collaborate on special projects involving high-stakes machinery installations
• Utilize schematics and manuals to resolve technical issues
• Be the first responder to maintenance requests to minimize downtimes
• Regularly perform accuracy audits and calibrations on machines
• Collaborate with engineering to bolster overall machine efficiency
• Maintain logs within the CMMS with accuracy
• Provide support in onboarding new CNC machinery within production
• Commit to safety practices and uphold compliance with safety procedures

Expanded Responsibilities:

• Drive and advocate for lean transformation and efficiency projects
• Versatile project involvement and safety adherence
• Personal and vehicular travel to source parts when necessary

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles within CNC machinery sectors
• Broad expertise in machinery including CNC-specific hardware
• Proficient at identifying and troubleshooting complex problems
• Able to function autonomously and collaboratively
• Previous experience in aerospace and high-precision settings preferred
• Certifications in related fields beneficial
• Experience with lean strategies
• Proficiency in Windows-based systems
• Focused on intricate details and safety-conscious
• Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company
• Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results
• Physical readiness to handle long periods of active work
• Manufacturing environment adaptability concerning noise and substances

Education & Expertise:

• Technical qualifications or experience in mechanical/electrical/industrial sectors
